ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENT

 

The Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is a multi-faceted assessment of a property to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the environmental concerns at a property. it is most often used to assess conditions of a property at the time of a real estate transaction. Envirologic performs each Phase I ESA at a minimum, in accordance with a nationally recognized standard developed by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).

 

 

The Phase I ESA Includes:

 

  1. Interviews with site personnel
  2. A thorough site inspection
  3. Review of historical records & review of public records from government agencies
  4. Assessment of off-site properties
  5. Computer generated site diagrams
  6. Comprehensive documentation including professional judgment, opinion, and recommendations

 

 

 

The Phase I ESA Also Includes:

. .Review of historical maps, photographs and other documents

. .Identification of sites listed on environmental data bases
