Envirologic recently welcomed a new employee, Kyle Patterson, to the team. In his new role, Kyle will be working as a Project Geologist primarily supporting our Remedial Investigation and Remediation Services Group.
Kyle has a background of eight years working as an exploration geologist in the oil and gas industry. More specifically, he planned and oversaw the drilling and completion of new oil wells. This involved interpreting geophysical data to identify potential well locations, as well as managing drilling teams and contractors. Through his past work experience, Kyle brings a unique perspective and understanding to the Envirologic team that will broaden our knowledgebase and enhance our clients' overall experience.
When asked why he joined Envirologic, Kyle said it was because he wanted to make a positive impact on the environment. He had always considered this goal important and had even started a groundwater protection team while working at one of his previous positions. Switching industries to environmental consulting just made sense to him, especially when Envirologic's core vision -- Do Good Work To Do Good -- so clearly aligned with his own personal beliefs.
Kyle received both his bachelor's degree in Geology and master's degree in Geology from Western Michigan University. His education, years of experience, and strong technical skills will further enhance our team's abilities and provide our clients with another experienced professional.
