Kalamazoo, MI - Envirologic Technologies, Inc., an environmental consulting and services firm, announced today the hiring of two new employees for its expanding business in Michigan. Alisa Lindsay, P.E., brings 23 years of environmental engineering experience to the Envirologic team as a Project Manager and Environmental Engineer. She received her Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, from the University of Michigan and has held multiple senior leadership, investigative and training positions. Alisa is a strategic hire for the Environmental Investigation and Remediation Group with vast industry experience that aligns with company services growth projections. Her skills and regulatory knowledge have already made her a valuable addition to the staff. Envirologic views her appointment as a sign of our continued commitment to being a leading company in our industry.
Kayla Rooney, the newest member of the team, graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Geology with an Environmental emphasis. Kayla also completed Western Michigan University's Hydrogeology Field Course, a highly respected program for which Envirologic's Vice President, Dave Stegink, has taught the HAZWOPER module for over twenty years. Additionally, she interned for the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy, which provided her a unique understanding of the intricacies of our state's environmental regulatory agency. Kayla has joined the team as a Project Geologist.
