Sustainability Matters

Envirologic's vision is to be a model of sustainability through our actions and education. We view sustainability as common sense practices that lessen our environmental impact and promote a better quality of life while promoting business success.

Some of our efforts are small like installing occupancy sensors in all enclosed office spaces. Other efforts involve a more substantial investment like our Energy Star rated roof and sustainable office renovation in 2015. No matter how large or small the effort may seem, we believe it all makes a difference. We also use energy-efficient appliances; provide reusable dinnerware, silverware, and glassware for our employees; sponsor Bike-to-Work events; recycle our plastics, glass, paper, etc.; compost food scraps; use cloth towels instead of paper towels; and use a post-consumer content letterhead made in Michigan with hydroelectric power.

Looking to the future, we continue to make progress towards finding new ways to realize our sustainability philosophy and are excited to share our knowledge and experience with our clients, employees, and community.

Company Practices

ETI Hydroelectricity Stationary
Our business cards, letterhead, and stationary are all printed on 100% recycled paper, generated with hydroelectricity.
sustainability glass and mug
To cut down on disposables in the office, we've purchased reusable dinnerware and silverware, recycled glassware, and locally made coffee mugs. With our 2015 sustainable office renovation, we installed a new, high-efficiency dishwasher.
Office Lights
From our office lamps to our ceiling lights, we've made an across-the-board switch to energy-efficient lighting.

We converted from T12 four bulb fixtures to three bulb T8s. We converted 60 of our office fixtures to cut down on energy use by 40 to 45%.

Travel Mug Image
Nothing like drinking a warm beverage with style! Our logo travel mugs are made from 100% recycled plastics, made in the USA, and are BPA free.
Booth Display Image
The display's velcro-receptive fabric panels and end caps are made with Eco-Fi Fabric, made from 100% recycled soda bottles, and mounted to a ReCo backing, also made from recycled plastics.
Display Case Image
Why does it matter that our display is eco-friendly? According to our display's manufacturer, "standard exhibits typically use Nylon-Based Fabric treated with toxic chemicals and printed with petroleum-based inks. Nylon does not decompose in landfills."
Water Dispenser Image
To encourage staff to cut down on one-time use bottles and disposable cups, we offer a water filtration system to encourage everyone to utilize reusable containers.
sustainability hall carpet
In the office, we use interface carpet squares, made with 45% recycled backing, 100% recycled fiber, and no VOCs in the glue or materials.
USB Flashdrive
Rather than print copies of lengthy reports, we developed a more sustainable strategy to organize and present documents to our clients...one that fits in their pocket.
Recycle bins
At Envirologic, recycling is a major component of our sustainability culture. Individual recycle bins are placed in every office and shared work space. In our kitchen, we recycle all types of plastic, glass, paper wrappers, etc. We also have initiated a food compost program.
EcoBoost truck
In recent years, we've transitioned our fleet of trucks to Ford F-150s with Eco-Boost 3.5L twin turbo V-6 engines. As many miles as we spend on the road, this change has significantly improved our overall fuel economy and our carbon footprint.
